Simply brilliant to be working with TMESIS theatre putting together a portfolio of photographs for their press-pack and documenting their recent run at the Unity Theatre, Liverpool.

I have been working with the band Wave Machines for several years since moving to Liverpool - It is always a stimulating and engaging dialogue, whenever we work together.
This press-shot was published to accompany profile piece in Art Rocker Magazine.
We wanted to blur the line between the skin and the masks.
Congratulations on the new album release!

- CONNEMARA CONNECTION - is a documentary project exploring the close links between the native irish-speaking people of Connemara, on the west coast of Ireland and the town of Huddersfield in the north of England.
In September 2008 the film was presented to over 300 people at Huddersfield Irish Centre and it is also available on DVD!
Videography John O’Shea and Sam Meech.

Artist Sam Skinner came to me for some technical expertise to produce this billboard scale image of the boundary of the Daresbury Estate - site of the Creamfields Festival.
We shot the photograph just before sundown using fuji provia medium format film and the really long exposure brought out the eerie atmosphere in glorious colours.
The finished print is seen being installed by workers from billboard poster company Comaish prior to the opening of the Cream Exhibition at the Site Gallery, Albert Dock, Liverpool.
There were lots of other interesting shots before we settled on the boundary image, including this one of a hidden swamp.

Sauce Multimedia commissioned me to deliver a series of photographs which could become the basis of a new website for their client Gemma Aldcroft of Geek Chic.

View Two Gallery, on Mathew Street, has become one of my favourite places in Liverpool.
View Two owner, Ken Martin, requested I take some photographs capturing their distinctive exhibition spaces and unique architecture, for their forthcoming brochure.

It was a great pleasure to work with Sam Meech on a project called MusicSEEN.
The idea was to provide basic camera skills training, video editing training, camera equipment and editing facilities to Big Issue vendors and enable them to film live performances of Liverpool bands.
They were able to prepare for the live shoots by filming a private performance of the band ‘Wave Machines.’
Participants (all of whom are Big Issue vendors) went on to document performances by ‘Sparkwood & 21‘ and ‘Revenge Tragedies‘ at Liverpool’s Barfly venue. They were able to edit tracks from each band back at Liverpool’s Big Issue office.
